I think the only reason why I like Mini’s are because of the movie .. the Italian Job. Anyhow, my sources say that Jena owns a yellow one. Nice!
I saw Jena Malone pulling out of the parking lot of the Whole Foods on the corner of Fairfax and Third at 2:30 p.m. on Friday, August 11. She was driving a cute yellow Mini, and looked absolutely fabulous. Really gorgeous. Her skin has cleared up, and her hair’s grown out.
One of the movies that Jena is working on at the moment is called “The Go-Getter”, in which she play’s a charater called “Joely”. The movie is currently in Post-production mode, and no-one’s sure when it will be released, hopefully sometime this year.
Sources say footage was shot in Oregon, at the South Eugene High School and in the mojave desert. Other locations include L.A and Mexico!
Go-Getter is directed by Lucy Barzun who had previously worked as Co-producer on Pieces of April.
Well folks, I’ve stumbled, trekked and rumbled across the Internet and I’ve managed to land my hands on the Jena Malone “Lying” interview that happened at the Cannes Film Festival 2006.
The interview is with director Mr M.Blash and Jena Malone herself. Don’t worry, I’ll stop rambling and let you get on with the show.
A long weekend brings four women together in the countryside. Virtual strangers, the women are forced to navigate the depths of social interaction. On the surface all seems placid. But the atmosphere of calm is a facade.
Now I hate stalkers. Infact I hate people like this. If you enjoyed Jena’s movies .. great! Watch them again!
But under no circumstance get obsessed and demand to see her. It’s just not on. Here’s what someone on the imdb forums posted.
After seeing donnie darko made me release that I need to see her. That one day I will met her because if you try hard enough it’ll happen. That Id go all the way to america just to have one conversation with her. If Anyone has any contact info let me know cheers.
One of Jena’s new movies which is to be released later this year is titled “The Go-Getter”. Here’s a quick summary.
It’s about this kid, Mercer, (Lou Pucci) who’s on a journey looking for his half-brother, 20-years older than he, who left home years ago. He steals a car in Eugene, Oregon and then starts an unlikely relationship with the car’s owner, played by Zooey. Jena Malone’s character is an old friend who he looks up when he finds himself in Reno. Maura Tierney plays his brother’s ex-lover and Judy Greer makes an appearance at one of the many places he goes in search of his brother.
Donnie Darko is one of those movies that just … trips the hell out of you. Now I’m normally a pretty cluey guy .. sometimes and when I saw this movie I had the biggest trip out. My friends had a bet to see whether I could understand the movie first go round. Well I lost. Second time round and I got the plot.
If you haven’t seen Donnie Darko then watch it. It’s artistic, full of emotion, throw in some drama and you’ve got a winner. It was first on my list to get the movie stills of this flick, and I’ve added a whole bunch courtesy of mwha!
Jena’s latest film, “Lying” has been a great hit so far in the film festival scene. Variety have pumped out a small review which features our beloved Jena Malone.
In a spacious country manse, hilltop-perched in what looks like upstate New York, Megan (Sevigny, in wafty mode) prepares the house for a visit from college student and co-worker Grace (Jena Malone, who’s starting to look with each pic more like Nicole Kidman’s belligerent kid sister), Grace’s friend Hella (Halley Wegryn Gross), and slightly older Linda (Maya Goldsmith), whom Megan knows from a yoga class in the city.
So I added some new funky galleries. All photos were sent in via email, all of which you can too.
