Tobias Wilkins and Mark Taylor of Victoria Australia have written a song entirely about Ms Jena Malone, in a tribute called “A Guy’s gotta Dream”. The duo (dubbed “Phitty and Son”) put together a YouTube video which you can watch below.

To be honest, I haven’t seen many Jena Malone fan videos; and especially none with this level of dedication (I mean the dudes wrote an entire song .. wtf?)

For those true, hardcore Jena Malone fans; you will be interested to know that Jena Malone has released new music videos from her new indie band, The Shoe. Taken straight from the myspace page, The Shoe’s “sounds like” statement features “If you opened a tin box and found a tiny children’s circus living inside.”.

Actress turn musician, Jena Malone has transformed her love for music into an active career and has previously performed live in LA with pianist band member Lem Jay. If you’re interesting in what the Shoe is .. well its an instrument, constructed by Jena Malone herself. According to PitchForkMedia, The shoe is a contraption built out of an old stream truck. Malone and band member Lem Jay have been seen on the streets of LA, often performing at low level random bars and even rooftop parties.

Jena has also created label ThereWasAnOldWomanRecords .. do you get it? The Shoe? Old woman?
Yeah I thought so.
