Taken straight from the myspace page, The Shoe’s “sounds like” statement features “If you opened a tin box and found a tiny children’s circus living inside.”.

Actress turn musician, Jena Malone has transformed her love for music into an active career and has previously performed live in LA with pianist band member Lem Jay. If you’re interesting in what the Shoe is .. well its an instrument, constructed by Jena Malone herself. According to PitchForkMedia, The shoe is a contraption built out of an old stream truck. Malone and band member Lem Jay have been seen on the streets of LA, often performing at low level random bars and even rooftop parties.
